Janet Putnik is a suburban housewife who finds herself buried in domestic duties. Time management is a distant dream. An exhausted Janet is left to her household duties, with baby daughter, Jill in tow. Once her husband Jim is off to work and prepubescent son Jeff off to school, she prepares her daily attack against domestic warfare.
Until, one morning Janet’s vacuuming is interupted by a visit from a small delegation of jibblings; aliens who have been observing her from their planet. Janet’s ability to multi-task in the course of her daily routine astonishes the alien crew. Left without leadership and somewhat unorganized, they seek her out to be the leader of their planet. Janet eagerly accepts on one condition. She has to be back on earth in time for dinner. Janet splits time between her suburban, household duties and daily commutes into space to take on the challenges that await the new leader of “Planet Janet”!
